This blog is a record of my mishaps at Monkey Academy, and the funny little ordeals that occur throughout our week.
I’m a mother of 2 monkeys (M1 and M2) who happily shares the den with my significant other (VS)…who sometimes acts like a 3rd child. I’ve been with daddy monkey for over 10 years and it is still going strong.
I love my life and look forward to all that comes. I thank god everyday for the blessed life I’ve been given.
I’m am also a full-time Biology grad student. This is our second year of homeschooling and we both love it. We were going to try it out for a year, we figured if things didn’t work out we’d put him back into school, however, it ended up going really well and just suited his personality. So here we are.
We school in the morning and I head off to school around lunch. It’s always busy here. I’d like to say I’m a Charlotte Mason-er but not exactly. We’re very flexible and go with what makes M1 happy. That is dinosaurs right now and I don’t think it will ever end at this point.

M1: The paleontologist
who knows all about dinosaurs, loves science but could do without math, at least that’s what he thinks.
He wishes to work in a museum and be a fossil hunter, but not at night since he says that could be dangerous

M2: “The Destroyer”
who knows all about causing trouble and destroying his older brothers’ creations
Lots of songs, stories, and play time

We also have one sexy black lab, whose vet wishes that his dog could aspire to be like ours, who is my 4th child, the only other female in the house.
